  1. Kirk,

There is supposed to be a well site in prep or drilling at Felixville in East Feliciana. I think its call the Hurst #1. Do you have any info on it?

    Thanks,
    Joe Aldridge

  2. Joe,
I do not. Who's the rumored operator? Section, township, and range?

  3. Could this be the next Encana/Devon well? I don't know where Feixville is, but, I did hear their well might be in La. somewhere near Chipola. If so, maybe the BOE went well???

  6. Its the well that's in the Chipola Field but its actually in East Feliciana at Felixville. Its supposed to be permitted to 13,000+ ft. or so. I'm assuming that its Austin Chalk or Eagle Ford. Sonris is down right now and I can't get the location.

  7. Kirk,
Have you heard anything about BP changing their mind on selling the Port Hudson field? Does it have anything to do with the AC, Eagle Ford, TMS plays?

  8. That well in the Chipola field is in Sec. 56 T1S R1E. The serial number is: 243162 and its permitted to 13,600 ft. They don't state an objective. Any info on what they are looking for as far as formation would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Joe Aldridge

  9. I believe this is the next Encana well( 1st one after the BOE)on Weyhauser Paper Co. property and it targets the TMS also.

  10. FM,
The well you are talking about is in St. Helena.
    Its the Encana - Weyhauser 73 - H Serial # 243414 Sec. 73 T1S R4E Permitted Depth 19,400 and would probably be a TMS well.

Another Well is in Livingston Parish and is also a Weyhauser well. Its operator is Yuma E&P Co. Serial # 243212 Sec. 19 T5S R5E Permitted DEpth is 15,500 Objective formation - Unknown

  11. Thanks Joe. Sorry I confused matters. Apparently these wells are getting relatively close to each other.

  12. Kirk, It looks to me like the Yuma in Livingston Parish is an Austin Chalk well. Any Comments?

  13. Joe,
Sorry for the delay. Here's my answers:
-Yuma and Trek wells: believed to be Tuscaloosa sand wells
-BP Port Hudson: I have NOT heard that they are taking PH out of the package
