Halcon Broadway H-1 Initial Potential

Halcon's Broadway H-1 had the following initial potential: 6 bopd, 0 mcfgd, 512 bwpd

The well had some significant wellbore issues, but the location is outside the area I define as the economic limits of the play.  This result is not surprising.

  1. Kirk, I see a closeup picture of the Broadway well on gohaynesvilleshale.com and there are about 8 storage tanks there on site. Why would they put so many storage tanks there if they don't feel like the well will improve.

  2. DC:

From the sounds of it EOG may be utilizing those tanks as temp salt water storage while the trucks haul off the water to a SWD well assuming EOG does not have a line run to an existing SWD well. My intel indicates that SWD wells in Avoyelles can be in short supply depending on location.

Just my possible theory, no hard data.

  4. Kirk, on the Sonlite DNR site I noted the following:

    Paul 15H-1 Well by EOG

05/31/2013 STATUS 31 INACTIVE DRY HOLE FUT. UTIL. STATUS DATE: 5-19-13.

That was a great ballgame last night wasn't it?

  6. So, after reaching depth on the Paul 15H-1 and before fracking wells are routinely marked 'inactive dry hole'? I am learning bit by bit. Thanks for you help.
