June production is now available from the MS Oil & Gas Board:
-4725 barrels of oil
-16 days of production
-0 water
-Average: 295 bopd

There are many rumors regarding the number of stages that are contributing and whether the well is still producing.

There has been a lot of discussion regarding the test results of Encana's re-entry of the Board of Education #1H well in Amite County, MS.  The wellbore diagrams below provide some additional information and perspective.  Upcoming wells with 6800' laterals could present some interesting results.

Anadarko Permits Another Austin Chalk Well - Vernon Parish

Anadarko has permitted another Austin Chalk well.  The GASRS #23 is in Burr Ferry South Field in Vernon Parish.  The well is permitted to a measured depth of 22,227', true vertical depth of 13,992, and a lateral of 8235'.

TMS Resistivity Isopach - Active Wells

A prior discussion has been provided regarding the significance of resistivity in the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale.  Below are the isopach values of resistivity great than 5 ohm-m for the current TMS well portfolio.  Indigo's 23H-1 well is one to watch.  A successful completion in that well more than doubles the prospective area of the play.

ION Geophysical Corporation Plans Central LA 3D Survey

ION Geophysical Corporation plans a large, high-tech 3-D survey across central Louisiana, technically designed to high-grade Tuscaloosa Marine Shale and Austin Chalk play areas.  The location and size of the survey will evolve as additional players enter the play.
